Amaranthus Caudatus Perennial, a large plant with striking red plumage that provides a dramatic look. As the plant becomes more established, impressive red-tinted light green leaves are joined by long drooping flower heads covered in hundreds of small deep-crimson blooms.

Sow seeds 14"-16" apart Direct sow seeds in average soil in full sun after all danger of frost has passed. Remove weeds from soil and work in organic matter into the top 6"-8" of soil; then level the soil after planting with 1"-2" of organic mulch which will begin to break down into compost.
